How to Navigate the Site with Ease
1. Sign Up
Fill in the sections in the sign-up form confirming your name, password and email address. Remember to specify in the drop-down menu that you are here to hire. As a client, there’s no need to create a profile.
2. Looking for Talents
To start looking for Talents, you can use the Search bar at the top of the main page to search for a specific person.
However, if you aren’t looking for anything specific, you can browse the ‘Popular Profiles’ section on the main page. You can also specify your search using the different categories available: Actors, Models, Extras, Real Couples, Voice Overs, Sports Models and Photographers.
Clicking on a section such as ‘Actors’ will take you to a page like the one below where you will be able to browse the different profiles available to you. The actors’ day rates are visible in green on the bottom-right side of their profile pictures.
You can also filter results according to your preference: either at the top right hand side of the page, where you can select the newest or the best-rated profiles, or on your left, where you can select the category- for instance, ‘Film’- that you would like to filter actors for.
You can further filter your results further down the page on the left-hand side by selecting everything from a talent’s height to their eye colour.
3. Selecting a Talent
Once you select a specific Talent, you will be able to see their profile in more detail, and view everything from show-reels to their resume.
On the right-hand side of the page, beneath the picture of the Talent, you will find the ‘Contact’ button: this will allow you to message the talent directly. If you want to make a custom offer, however, you can also do this by clicking the ‘Request Custom Offer’ button above the picture of the Talent, which will take you to the page seen below.
You can keep track of these messages via your Inbox (see below), which can be accessed by clicking the envelope icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. Though we encourage you to send messages to the Talents- and vice versa- one of the best things about Joboundu is that it guarantees protection for both the Client and the Talent: therefore, please don’t send each other your telephone numbers or email addresses!
Further down the page, you will be able to see more specific information about the talent in particular, such as their appearance, measurements and their Best Skills: this will allow you to better tailor your search, and find the perfect person for the role you have in mind.
At the bottom of the Talent’s profile, you will be able to see where they are based- for instance, in London- whether they have any specific booking deals, and any other profiles in any other sections of the site that they have created.
If you really like a Talent’s profile, or want to save it so that you can come back to it later, click the heart-shaped button at the top-left hand side of a Talent’s profile. By hovering your mouse over the heart you can also see how many other clients have saved that profile; by clicking it, you save the profile to the ‘My Favourites’ section of the drop-down menu, under ‘My Profiles’. By clicking it again, you will remove it.
Here, you can browse, book or delete the profiles of your favourite Talents.
4. Booking talents
Once you decide to book a talent, select the green ‘Book’ button and you’ll be taken to this page: this is where you will be able to review your payment and then pay via PayPal. This is completely confidential, as the only thing we require from you is your PayPal email address!
Once this is done, the money will be taken from your bank account and held in stasis until the Talent has finished the job that you have booked them to do- after which it will be released into their account.
5. Your Inbox
If you wish to keep track of the messages that you have sent to Talents, or to reply to one that has been sent to you, select the ‘Private Messages’ option from your dashboard, or the envelope icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. This will take you to your Inbox, where you can send and receive messages.
6. Keeping track of your bookings
Once you have booked a talent, clicking the ‘Shopping’ option on the dashboard menu on the right hand side of the page will take you to your ‘My Shopping’ page. This is where you will be able to keep track of all of your bookings and even write reviews for the people that you have booked for jobs. The green banner at the top of the page will tell you how many bookings you have and the tabs beneath it will let you keep track of active, cancelled and completed jobs.
In addition, you can keep track of your payments by selecting the ‘Payments’ button on the dashboard menu.
7. Support and Feedback
If you want to ask a question, select ‘Support’ from the drop-down menu at the right-hand side of the page. This will take you to the Support page where you can ask your questions and get your problems sorted!
Here, you can browse the questions that have already been asked by other users- by using the search bar, or by selecting the filters that are beneath it. If you want to ask a question that hasn’t already been asked, then select the ‘New Ticket’ button at the right-hand side of the page.
From here, you can ask your question and press ‘Submit’. Your query will then appear on the main Support page, and our friendly and helpful staff will answer your question as soon as possible!
That’s all there is to it. If there’s anything else you want to know, or need clarifying, don’t hesitate to use our Support page- after all, you now know how to use it!
